The Folk Circle Assocaition is a non-profit organization that acts as a clearing house for folk dance and recreation in the Berea region.

 

 

 

 

Your support of the Folk Circle Association allows us to continue organizing and promoting events that enrich the community of Berea by preserving the traditional folk heritage for which Berea has long been known. This is true especially in the way of folk dance and other recreation. The Folk Circle Association sponsors the following events (you can find information about these events by visiting our "events" page):

• Levi Jackson Dance Weekend
• Arte Vida International Folk Festival
• Danish-American Christmas Celebration

Your membership, in addition to supporting these community-building events, gives you access to:

• International opportunities for exchange and hosting
• Open invitation to all Folk Circle Association board meetings, which means that you have a voice in the planning of Folk Circle Association events
• Use of the Russel Acton Folk Center
• Have your organization’s information represented on the FCA web site

Since the formation of the Folk Circle Association in 1985, we have done our very best to live the dream of Russell Acton, which is to enrich the community of Berea through recreational programs and events, and promote awareness of folk dance and other arts.
