All functions of the Folk Circle Association depend primarily on a board of officers. All members of the board are members of the Folk Circle Association. They are responsible for the planning and coordination of Folk Circle Association events, as well as assistance and support for their member groups and their events (Click Here to see a listing of our current member groups). Theresa Lowder, President: Theresa also enjoys running the Berea Festival Dancers Howard Carlberg, Vice-President: Howard runs the sound for one of the contras, and enjoys hosting the other with his wife, Shirley.  He also helps teach the Nonesuch Players. Shirley Carlberg, Treasurer: Shirley is involved with the shape note singers, leads the Nonesuch Players, and enjoys hosting a contra, and is well known in the community for her wonderful parties. Kevin Burke, Secretary: Kevin is an avid dancer, and enjoys participating in many of the Folk Circle events.  He also is very proud of his Scottish heritage. Click HERE for the original board members.
